I’ve been in Beijing, China for the past couple weeks (and
will be until the beginning of June), so I can’t access blogger. I’m also not
cooking for myself because I don’t really have the right facilities where I’m
staying. Luckily, I’ve really been enjoying the food here in Beijing!
One dish that’s a big favorite with my group is eggplant,
I’m not sure what they call the particular eggplant dish, but I’ve had it at a
few restaurants and its delicious.
Without being able to actually test them, I think these two
recipes look reasonably close to what I’ve had, and they seem pretty simple.
Try them out if you’re feeling adventurous, I definitely will when I get home!
